Our Staff

Terri H Ritchie MS, CNS, CCN, LDN is the owner of Advent Nutrition and is a state state licensed clinical nutritionist who holds degrees in biology and business from Neumann College and a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, CT. Additionally she received her certification as a clinical nutritionist from the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists and is recognized as a Certified Nutrition Specialist by the American College of Nutrition.

      A nutritional counselor since 1995, she previously worked as a research scientist for the Fitzgerald-Mercy Hospital Cancer Research Program, and has also held research positions in virology, immunology and oncology within the pharmaceutical industry. She is heard weekly on her radio show, “Mission: Nutrition”, and has been a frequent guest lecturer for Brandywine Hospital of Chester County, Mothers of Preschoolers (Berks and Chester County), Chester County Adult Night School and numerous community health symposiums throughout Chester County. She continues to update her knowledge base in nutritional therapies by attending advanced educational seminars through the Institute of Functional Medicine and nutritional post-graduate studies.

 

Rita Baglin, RD, LDN is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, with a B.S. in Nutrition Management, completing her dietetic internship and graduate coursework at the University of Buffalo. Rita comes to us with over 20 years’ experience working with the Geriatric population in both Long-Term Care and sub-acute rehab facilities. 

She utilizes a personalized nutrition approach when it comes to counseling.  By individualizing advice and support, her clients will be motivated to make the dietary changes necessary to improve their health. Her specialties include Geriatrics, Vegetarianism, Weight management, Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease and G.I. disorders.  She believes that food is medicine and that nourishing your body with healthful foods is essential for the prevention and management of chronic diseases.

In her free time Rita enjoys taking fitness classes, traveling, paddle boarding, walking outdoors and spending time with her two teenage boys.
